Ted Mulvehill, Past State President of the Mass Veterans' Service Officers Assn. and presently a Sub-Committee Member, Governor's Advisory Council on Veterans' Affairs says, "The Ramble has found a wonderful way to honor those who are serving abroad. To offer the children of our troops the ability to run this race free of charge honors the soldier, but importantly, honors the family, as well."

To participate in the April 27, 2010 event, children must be 18 years of age and under, and proof of a parent’s active duty status must be provided and will be verified at the registrations at the Endicott Estate.

The 27th Edition James Joyce is set to run at 11:00 AM on Sunday, April 25th. Live music will be performed by the Dennis Brennan Band and Dedham singer songwriter Julie Sweeney. ,p. The Dedham Transcript is looking for James Joyce Ramblers that have done it all 27 years and maybe a newcomer.
