Take a Walk is a 4.5 mile fund-raising walk that is held in conjunction with the James Joyce 10K road race. Take A Walk is sponsored by Dedham Savings and is held in memory of the late Janice Stanley, who at one time was the Auditor for Dedham Savings. Janice, who battled Cancer, was assisted greatly by the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
The walkers begin shortly after runners at the Endicott Estate on East street. It is a terrific way for people, young and old, to show their support as well as experience the sights and sounds of the Ramble.
